Stream access is right across the bridge. This is an excellent place to hop in the refreshingly cool water on warm days. The cabin itself has been entirely remodeled with updated flooring, paint, trim, fixtures, artwork, bathrooms, beds and a brand new kitchen featuring hickory cabinets, dark counter-tops and a barn wood style backslash. Solid sliding doors are prevalent through out the cabin. The newly added screened in porch overlooks the rapids and is sure to be a hit with a large round patio table that accommodates 10. Opposite the table is a butchers block bar that's prefect for staging appetizers and cocktails before exiting out onto the large two tiered composite deck. On the deck to the right a portable fire pit will greet you, straight ahead is a fantastic sun bathing area and down the steps to the second level is a BBQ/ Smokers Paradise via the Green Mountain Grill. Cocktails on the built in reclining bench are a great way to enjoy the ambiance of the rushing water and reminiscence on the experiences of the day. On rare circumstances we would consider a one night stay during the week depending upon the time of the year so feel free to ask.

Our little Prairie Bungalows was built with solid cement blocks by a German immigrant, Carl Tuchenhagen, who came to the Nebraska Panhandle for the Free Land (Homestead). After a time he married Myron’s Grandmother, Johanne, a young widow with three boys. Carl had been trained as a stonemason in Germany. Building with these solid cement blocks was the perfect material for the Sandhills of Nebraska. As Johanne put it in her “proving-up” declaration “there are no trees to build a house”. As you visit anywhere along the 100th Meridian, from the Black Hills, Mt. Rushmore, the Pine Ridge Reservation, and Wounded Knee, as well as the Old Town of Gordon, you will find your stay much more pleasant in our lovely home. It is completely updated, with new plumbing, electricity, oak floors, and handmade( by Myron) kitchen cabinets. New paint and lovely furnishings make this such a comfortable respite for travelers. The backyard is very well designed, with grapevines and ancient lilacs and rose bushes bringing fragrance to the patio area. We have a gas grill and comfortable seating on the covered Patio. This is a three bedroom, two bath manufactured home located at Omaha Beach Court. It is located just two and a half miles West of white sandy beaches for you to kick off your vacation with your toes in the sand. With an open concept through the kitchen and living room, it allows plenty of seating with big microfiber couches for you to kick your feet up after a day in the sun. We provide king, queen, and a bunk bed with a twin over full as well as a queen size air mattress. We are on the north side of the lake, which is where the best beaches are, but we also have the train . It is close and runs often. We do have a 10x 10 canopy, beach chairs and towels for you to use. There’s also a fire pit.

Prairie Ridge has two luxury cabins. The Main Cabin is a 5 bedroom 4 bathroom cabin with a great room that has Satellite TV, large comfy couches, a Professional Poker Table, and a Bar. The Main cabin also has a very large industrial kitchen that is ideal for cooking large group/family meals, most cooking and eating utensils are included. There is a huge meeting table that would work well for Family Reunions or Business Meetings. There are also 4 permanent kennels for dogs.

We are a 15 minute drive to Lake MacConaughy, 3 miles from the historical Oregon Trail, 2 miles from the beautiful and historical Ash Hollow and 1/2 mile from the North Platte River. This is a 1,090 sq ft 2 bedroom/ 1 bath house that sleeps 6 comfortably. The kitchen is fully furnished with a breakfast nook and has a washer and dryer. The bathroom has a toilet, tub/shower combination. Our back yard has a fire pit with ample seating for enjoying the stars. Small pets allowed (up to 2 dogs).

There is a gas grill and covered table for an outside meal. We accept up to 2 small dogs. There is a fee of $25 per dog to cover additional cleaning for our next visitors sho may not be pet lovers.

This motel suite is located at the Gander Inn Motel. This is a large property with space for large groups, BBQ areas, and space to relax.We are located in the Village of Lewellen, 18 miles north of I-80, 10 minutes from Lake Mac. We are also close to Ash Hollow Park and Clear Creek Wild Life Refuge. This historical building has been through many conversions over the years. The house was built in 1912 for the Orr family. Then in 1943 the Orr family donated this home to the village of Lewellen to become a hospital, Lewellen Community Hospital, which was moved to it's current location at 105 Church Street. The operating room was on the first floor; after the doctor was finished with the surgery, patients were carried upstairs to a private room for recovery. There were many children in Garden County born in this hospital from 1943 to the late 1960's. Room # 7 was used as the delivery room, and the current bathroom upstairs was the nursery. The original scrub sink used is still in use today. The original baby scale used during that time is still currently displayed at the Inn. The nursing home was added to the right side of the hospital which later became the motel rooms of today. The cottage was originally used as the nurses quarters.

The cottage is part of the property of The Gander Inn Motel. The living room has a large sectional couch and a day bed. The bedroom has 2 queen beds. The cottage is air-conditioned and has dish network tv. The kitchenette area has refrigerator, micro-wave and hot plate. The are bb grills on the property as well as numerous outdoor tables. This is a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of every day.

The lodge has all the comforts of home. Built in 1912, the main floor has a parlor area including a 1906 piano; the dining area (seats 22), family room with large screen TV with Dish Network, a 1/2 bath (with the original 1940's scrub sink) and a fully stocked kitchen with 2 stoves, refrigerator, sink, microwave and dishwasher. The second floor has 5 bedrooms and 1 full bath, with an outdoor balcony overlooking our spacious grounds. You may step outside onto a large patio area that includes BBQ grills, tables and chairs along with a chiminea and fire pit for the evening hours .

Motel room with private exterior entrance and private bathroom, with a/c. Motel setting is on a large property with outside courtyard with BBQ grills. WI FI across entire property.- with streaming ability to flat screen Roku television. We provide fresh towels daily with our room service.
