Of The Outdoors

Columnist Gary Howey (Hartington, Nebraska) is pictured with a Transition walleye taken using aa heavier jig, with a stinger hook, tipped with a large Creek Chub.

Fall will be here before you know it when things will begin to change in the lakes, when they turn over, where the water in the lake actually turns over, with the water from the bottom comes up, and top water going to the bottom.

During this time, fishing conditions are tough as thee water becomes muddy and murky.
